Introduction
Life
is very exciting. There are endless possibilities for today's children
as they grow up in the twenty-first century. There are enormous
opportunities for them to develop their talents and skills as they grow
into mature human beings. But the future, and the challenges it can
bring, can be daunting. Our aim is to help our students develop the
skills which they will need to make the most of the opportunities they
will be offered and to prepare them to face the future with confidence.
Small
class sizes enable our staff to help students to fulfil their academic
potential. Our Citizenship programme helps
prepare them for life after school for, however technically advanced
society is, we still need the skills of being able to communicate with,
and understand each other.
All
students at Britannica are encouraged to make the most of their talents,
whether they be academic, sporting, business or social.
We lay great stress on the development of the whole person, and
aim for our young people to be friendly, thoughtful, charitable and
independent.
At
the end of their time with us, we want each student to have the
widest choices for his or her future. Through good academic results and
the confidence that comes from developing character, our students will
achieve far more than they imagined possible.
