Welcome to Britannica - the British School of Belgrade.

Britannica is a UK school, managed by UK nationals and the only British school accredited by the Serbian Ministry of Education. Britannica educates children from ages three to eighteen, teaching the UK Curriculum. The school is a member of ECIS, (The European Council of International Schools) and we are a Centre for Cambridge University International Examinations (Centre EA 012) for Primary, Secondary 1, IGCSE, AS and A level.

Britannica students have gone on to some of the best universities in Europe, including Oxford and Cambridge, Edinburgh, The Royal College of Art (London), The Sorbonne (Paris), as well as Berlin, Warsaw, Amsterdam and local Universities. This year we have our first students accepted in top private US Colleges.

Meanwhile, the parents of our younger children are delighted to see their children really enjoying their school and making great progress! One of the reasons for our success is that we restrict our class sizes to maximum 10 children - this means we are a small school but a cheerful one where every child is known well and feels valued. We are often told we are the best school in Belgrade.
